This is the class that brought everything together for me. Learning CQB and understanding what goes into mission planning was something I struggled to get. After taking this class, it’s like the pieces started falling together and I really started to understand the WHY behind the things we do. The morning PT is tough if you are giving it 100% but trust me, you are all the better for it. The shooting drills we went over in class, really boost confidence in marksmanship fundamentals and you really get to push the envelope of what your capable of. The instructors were fantastic, much respect to those guys. I don’t look up to many people but I admired the team they put together to teach the class. 5 out 5 highly recommend.

This course is an awesome opportunity to step up your game. The instructors have an incredible amount of knowledge that they are willing to share and give back to the rest of us. From start to finish the entire curriculum was set up for a purpose. From day one to day 5 you could see the improvement in each person whether the individual had prior knowledge/instruction or none at all. The instructors truly care about what they are teaching and you can see their passion for the subjects taught but also for each individual. You can see they want you to succeed and aren’t keeping any secrets for themselves. I love the high intensity paired with the instruction, its not just beating you down but they have purpose behind each task/challenge. In 5 days you can see the results and the confidence boost in each person. I had an awesome time and highly recommend Controlled CHAOS Tactics!

As a training officer for the past 9 years, I have attended many classes for firearms, room clearing and CQB. Paul’s instruction comes from his experience in the military and law enforcement. He is able to tailor the instruction to his students ability, nothing too complicated. From the basics to advanced techniques, Paul is able to provide safe, quality training for those who have a limited budget. From firearm handling, CQB, Tac Med and team building exercises, Paul is able to provide drills for any level of operator. Our team has trained with Paul and his team for the past 4 years and I have been thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. We have benefitted greatly with his experience and training. As a team, we have been able to implement new techniques that are very easy to learn. I served over 13 years in the Army, most of which as a Green Beret and I had the privilege of serving with the owner of Controlled CHAOS Tactics, Paul Heitz. As an instructor, Paul was very knowledgeable on tactics, both as a prior LEO and Special Forces Operator, as well as being very professional when teaching to students. When he approached me on his idea to give back to the law enforcement community by teaching what he knows about tactics he again displayed the kind of person he is. His passion and dedication to train others is who he is as a person and I have no doubt his training will help officers stay safe in their line of work.

I’ve been in law enforcement for almost 10 years and made our SWAT Team almost 2 years ago. Since making the team I’ve had the privilege of going through Paul’s training. He’s a master at finding and critiquing the small things your doing while shooting /moving/ or clearing so that your proficiency increases ten fold. He also brings important skills in team building and has brought our team closer together, helping us to work as a more effective and cohesive unit. Paul has come and taught our team a lot. Many times he came with people that he’s made connections with over a very long career to bring different perspectives and another set of experienced eyes. They bring very simple concepts to help individuals and larger teams develop their “bread and butter” tactics. Nothing fancy, just clean and efficient CQB tactics for all levels of operators. My personal experience with these types of movements was very limited. The first time I worked with Paul and his team, it was very easy to pick up on the concepts he shows. Very basic, easy to learn, easy to further develop. He also brings in a level of personal accountability. Instead of Paul observing and telling you what you did wrong, he will ask you what you did. This helps to not be beaten to death by instruction, but to help keep your mind focused on what you’re doing, paying attention to your teammates, and also keeping your head on a swivel. It’s helped widen that tunnel vision when you go to work. Great guys to work with and be around, awesome program to learn, hands down it’s high quality training. Always learning something new.

If you want to be the best, you learn from the best!! This isn’t for the faint of heart. If you want your men to have real proper training that will save their lives protecting your community this is the way to go.
